VIDEO CONTENT MANAGER – DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Video Content Manager – Brazil’s duties & responsibilities are:

  • Operating across YouTube and VEVO to maximise our current Brazilian artists’ revenue from their visual assets and identify new Brazilian artists, labels and channels..

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

  • At least 2 years of experience working with a digital proposition within the YouTube environment
  • Youtube Certification
  • Strong knowledge of the YouTube platform
  • Understanding of the YouTube CMS
  • Strong passion for music
  • Capability to communicate clearly and efficiently
  • Strong network of connections
  • Great work ethic with a can do attitude, always looking to go the extra mile

Job Description:

WIN Network Development Director

WIN (Worldwide Independent Network Ltd) wishes to hire a Network Development Director, to start immediately. The job is a senior and pivotal position within our organisation, being the main point of contact between WIN as an organisation and its network of independent music associations. The role will require someone with superior industry knowledge and contacts, excellent interpersonal skills, a keen interest in cultural diversity, enthusiasm and motivation.

Key responsibilities 

  • Primary point of contact for the network of independent trade associations.
  • Developing increased contact between the associations, with WIN acting as facilitator.
  • Developing and delivering a programme of support and collaboration between our network of associations globally.
  • Working with the Chief Operating Officer to deliver value and support to associations individually and collectively; interfacing with wider industry contacts and initiatives.
  • Developing detailed knowledge of the industry in individual territories, with a particular focus on developing markets.
  • Responsible for building associative structures and representation in countries hitherto unrepresented.
  • Supporting the COO with occasional legal & business affairs work, including rights related matters.
  • Interfacing with leading national associations and sector lobbyists on matters of policy, to increase knowledge sharing around the network.
  • Interfacing with various entities on matters relating to funding applications.
  • Working directly with the COO and Board on regular work, and specific initiatives as they arise.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Understanding of today’s international music industry, including copyright/related rights, policy and commercial issues.
  • Knowledge of the international independent music sector, and the challenges it faces.
  • Multilingual, ideally fluent in English and Spanish, and proficiency in at least one other (preferably non-European) language.
  • Proven track record of delivering knowledge sharing programmes.
  • Broad network of music industry contacts, preferably internationally.
  • Must be proactively interested in developing diversity in our sector, and the wider music industry.
  • A pro-active, ‘self starting’ attitude is essential, as are first class communication and collaboration skills.

General

  • Extensive foreign travel
  • Reports to the COO.
  • Full time role
  • Salary: commensurate with experience.

Job Description:

Co-ordination Manager

 WIN (Worldwide Independent Network Ltd) wishes to hire a Co-ordination Manager, to start immediately. The job consists of a broad remit to assist the organisation in various aspects of administrative work and to provide support for a small team, as well as taking on key information gathering and communication tasks.

The position is outward facing and requires regular contact with our members, directors, staff, and industry institutions on a daily basis. The role is key to the operations of the organisation, and the successful candidate will enjoy working with a wide network of industry figures from around the world.

The successful candidate will be personable, motivated, and familiar with today’s music industry issues.

Key responsibilities:

  • General administrative duties of the organisation
  • Liaising with member associations, partner organisations and others
  • Gathering and collating information from across the network of WIN associations and other industry bodies
  • Managing meeting bookings, accommodation and general support for attendees in various international locations throughout the year
  • Taking meeting notes at 2 or 3 board meetings per year
  • Managing the organisation’s social media presence
  • Managing funding and cost reimbursement processes
  • Supporting the Chief Operating Officer and other staff with regular work, and specific initiatives as they arise.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within the music or media industries.
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Social media experience and practical channel management (Facebook and Twitter).
  • Knowledge of market research and presentation of analysis and conclusions.
  • Finance or legal/business affairs experience would be an advantage, but not a necessity.
  • Must be proactively interested in developing diversity in our sector, and the wider music industry.

General:

 Requires some foreign travel (around 4 or 5 trips per year).

  • Reports to the COO.
  • Based in central London (South Bank).
  • Full time position.
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK.
